ArtSci Nexus presents: 9 Evenings Revisited - In Theory, as in Practice THINK TANK
In the style of avant-garde theater, improvisational orchestra, with a hint of Actionist sensibilities, 9 Evenings: Theatre and Engineering, opened to an eager public in October 1966 in the 69th Regiment Armory in New York City. This October is the 50th anniversity of this landmark exhibition. To celebrate its importance to interdisciplinary practice, ArtSci Nexus wil pay tribute to this monumental exhibition with a 9 day festival from September 29-October 8, and a preparatory one week series of lectures, performances, film screening, and educational workshops April 11-15. 9 Evenings Revisited: In Theory, as in practice, stands apart from its predecessor, as it involves cellular and molecular life scientists, physicists, and mathematicians, rather than engineers, and therefore reflects the diversity and breadth of scientific culture.
