Jeongmoon Choi

Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jeongmoon Choi originally studied painting in her hometown. Choi’s artistic practice involves “Object d’Art” and installations composed of threads and metal frames and with the use of natural light or black light create a feeling of space within space. Her well known spellbinding installations from coloured wool and UV light transforms, maximizes, and blur or enhance the architecture of spaces. They are an invitation for the viewers to explore their relationship with structures, movements and perspectives in space.Jeongmoon Choi studied at Sungshin University in Seoul, South Korea, and at the Kassel College of Fine Arts, Germany. She lives and works in Berlin and Seoul and her work has been exhibited in various private and public galleries and institutions around the world.
